Accord Brook Quest

This Quest will take about 30 minutes to complete.

Start with your friends at the Visitors’ Center; check out the exhibits as soon as you enter.

Pick up a map of the Wompatuck trails; and later you should have a chance to see rails.

Come out the door and down the walk. Be safe in the street and look out while you talk.

Just as you go, head a bit to the right – with the parking and bike renting fully in sight.

In the back of the lot are 2 gates that are brown, “Bike Path” on the right is the one to go down.

By the gate you can locate a rock to the right, with square border and letter all painted in white.

You have hiked and have found it, this is CLUE #1 - the rest of the Quest will be certainly fun.

If you go 60 steps on the left is CLUE #2 – white paint on the rock makes it easy to view.

Up the hill you will see a stonewall on the right; farther on is a 2nd one greeting your sight.

Stop at the wall and look down on the ground, just to the right CLUE #3 can be found.

Soon a bench on the right is a pleasure to view, the left end has a letter, CLUE #4 just for you.

Next on the right is a real water source. It is round and of stone, and has CLUE #5, of course.

At the road straight ahead, find yourself at a gate; one of its posts has CLUE #6, and then go straight.

Here were the rails that we promised to be show. Move on to the right where the trains use to go.

An old gatepost beckons, so check for a clue – CLUE #7 is painted much taller than you.

Now turn right on a bridge that is made of concrete; and railings for safety and CLUE #8 is near your feet.

This bike trail is curvy but the end is in sight; a wonderful maple is soon on your right.

CLUE #9 is down low at the base of the tree, just look in the hollow, it’s not hard to see.

Directly behind you is another good tree, 4 trunks in this one, all smiling with glee.

A rock to its left has CLUE #10 on its top. And near it a low place where searching will stop.
